I want to work irregular and demanding hours, have a happy and demanding family, have very little routine but a lot of unrigid traditions, use my time off work in a high energy way, and be adventurous.
I want to be a doctor because of the irregularity, demandingness, fast pace, dedication requirement, scrubs, sociality, biology/physiology, group and learning focus.
My major life goals are to become a doctor, get married to someone with a secret identity, have happy children, retire to a small cabin in the woods, publish a book, discover something new about the human brain, research the brain, advance the field of neuroscience by a accidental discovery in a lab late at night but then question the moral ramifications of making the results public and making all my coworkers swear and oath of secrecy but one of them tells the world and I must fight the monster I have created.
In the more short term, there are several places I would like to travel to, to build my understanding and experience of the natural wonders of the West Coast. The list includes going to the Beringer Crater in Nevada, going to see the largest living organism in Oregon, visiting Buford Wyoming.
Some skills I hope to acquire are knitting, trumpet, whistling, open heart surgery, french, spanish, chess, and raising one eyebrow.
